Love & Loss resonates in all of us, and no gulf between the 18th and 21st could keep us apart. We're glued to two different sheets of paper, with each paper intricately wrapped, taped, sowed and stuck together. The love of 18th century is no different than the love of 21st century; loss is much the same. The inclusion process touches upon common themes and topics, of nature, love of various sorts, heaven, travel and art. Each topic in the editorial process represents something personally edenic or curiously depleting towards our consciousness. Capturing these emotions were key in the editorial process, and the writings chosen, we felt, were unique in their character because these emotions were vividly candid.
